A new address.
A complete key list.
A Dublin move-in handover is easier to discuss when physical keys, shared entrances and electronic controls have their own place on the list. Begin with who can authorize a change, then decide what each entrance actually needs.
Call 614-350-7676Before changing anything
Confirm the handover arrangements and identify who controls each affected entrance. An owner, tenant and property manager can have different responsibilities. A private front door and a shared building door should not be assumed to fall under the same permission.
Explain the result you want: access to a door, a change in who holds working keys or attention to unreliable hardware. Residential locksmith information separates those situations so a move does not become an automatic instruction to replace every lock.
Make three parts to the inventory
First, list the exterior keyed doors and note whether the same key operates them. Second, list copies you received, copies that may be unaccounted for and the people who should retain access. Third, record codes, fobs and garage remotes separately from the physical keys.
There is no need to publish sensitive access information or share a code in an open form. The inventory is a way to describe the scope to the appropriate service contact and the people who can approve it. Count the devices without assuming they all change together.
Look at condition as a different question
A lock can function smoothly while its key distribution is uncertain. Rekeying may be considered for suitable existing hardware. A handle that feels loose or a bolt that catches needs its own repair or replacement discussion.
If you want compatible doors to share one key, state that goal explicitly. The final arrangement depends on the hardware, not simply on every lock being at the same address. Product-specific conditions should be checked before promises about compatibility or warranties are made.
Close the handover with a defined scope
Ask which entrances and keys are included in the estimate, what remains subject to inspection and how any proposed change will be approved. Make sure the person responsible for shared or rented hardware is part of the decision where needed.
Keep the overhead garage door and its controls distinct from the keyed door into the house. The garage guide explains why a physical house-key change should not be assumed to reset a remote. A complete list is useful precisely because the items can belong to different scopes.
